I have added some workshop dates for next year. There will be more. To start the year there are a mixture of indoor and outdoor things. There is also a monthly Zoom which is free. Fun with light

Saturday 7th January 4.30-6pm £15 per person

Come and have fun in the dark with your camera. Play with slow shutter speeds and light to get great results. You will need a camera that has a mode where you can alter the shutter speed or a compact camera that has firework mode or a phone that has a manual/pro mode such as a samsung. If you're not sure please ask. You will also need a tripod. This workshop is in my unit at Kirkharle coutyard and is great fun. It will be a small group. Saturday 21st January 10.30-12 Exploring with our cameras at the North east land air and sea museum. £15 Come and have an explore with your camera. Some of the exhibits are under cover but it's not heated so wrap up warm. Old Washington Road, Sunderland ,Tyne and Wear, SR5 3HZ  Message me to book your place. 

Sunday 5th February 10.30-12 Phone photography at Kirkharle courtyard. Let's go for a wander and have some fun with our phone cameras. Wednesday 15th February 12.30 - 1 on Zoom Free. Project ideas. 

Kids photography workshop Monday 20th February. Come and have some fun taking pictures. You can use your camera, phone or tablet. Camera's are not provided. The workshop will take place at Sarah Loveland Photography, 6 The Stonebarn, Kirkharle courtyard. There are two different age groups. 

Under 13's 10.30-11.15 £8 per photographer. Adults can stay if they wish to do so. 

13-16yrs 12-12.45 £8

A fab workshop in conjunction with artist Rebecca Noelle Purvis. Rebecca is in the neighbouring unit to me and has been on the Sky arts programme landscape artist of the year. In the morning you will be learning how to take pictures that are great for painting and sketching from with me, Sarah Loveland photography. I will print your picture in the lunch break. In the afternoon you will be painting or sketching from your photograph with the help and guidance of Rebecca. It's going to be a fabulous day here at Kirkharle courtyard. All materials are included. Tea and coffee on arrival and of course I will make sure there are biscuits! Bring a packed lunch or go and treat yourself in the coffee house. We are working on a date for this.
